Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Care for all plants by watering, deadheading, and moving to appropriate areas. Unloading of plant carts when shipments arrive. Merchandising of all outdoor product including pallets of dirt, soil, and mulch.

Customer Service Provide a positive representation of Kopetskys Ace Hardware. Proactively assist customers in solving problems. Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates. Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively. Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management. Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products. Assist customers with personal, customized service based on the premise of an amazing experience for every customer, every time.

Other Essential Requirements Work shifts vary but generally no less than four hours and may exceed eight hours. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Education/Training High School or GED equivalent

Experience Prior customer service experience preferred

Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing. Working in cold conditions in the early season and Hot conditions later in the season.
