Parker Hannifin Canada has an exciting opportunity as an Inside Sales Representative which is a key role apart of our National Customer Experience team. The role will be based in our Winnipeg, MB facility and report to the Customer Service Manager from our Headquarters in Milton, ON. If you have exceptional customer service skills, have a technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for long term career growth, this opportunity may be right for you.

  • Administers customer service accounts of moderate scope and complexity to achieve division business objectives and to meet customer performance expectations. Interprets customer requests, monitors performance and delivery, investigates complaints, and supports general tehnical requests.

  • Answer and respond to customer inquiries through phone, CRM platform request, while maintaining a high customer satisfaction level. Enters customer orders, quotations, expediting and other duties as assigned.

  • Provides mutually acceptable solutions to customer needs that impact cost or schedule. Negotiates requirements as predetermined across multiple customers, products, and internal teams. May re-prioritize delivery schedule to meet customer commitments.

  • Investigates and resolves claims or complaints by collecting and analyzing information. Coordinates with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues; resolves customer complaints concerning deliveries, invoices or billing discrepancies.

  • Maintains successful, long-term business relationships and contacts with customer. May perform customer service administration activities on a limited basis.

    The ideal candidate for this role possesses the following attributes:

    • Universty Degree or College Diploma in Business (or related field)

    • Certification in Fluid Power or willingness to gain the certification

    • Minimum 2-3 years related work experience in customer service

    • Natural problem solver

    • A strong desire to grow with a leading company with global opportunities

    Other skills that would make you a strong candidate would include:

    • Professional telephone manner

    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills

    • Exceptional customer service and inside selling skills

    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
