AAA Mid Atlantic Analyst, Distribution Data in Wilmington, United States

AAA is hiring for a Distribution Data Analyst to join our team!

This position will provide financial & transactional data analysis and robust metrics support to all areas of Distribution Operations (Retail and CCIT). This includes development, monitoring, modeling, and reporting of all key performance indicators, and to provide ongoing data modeling and detailed analysis to uncover trends, issues and opportunities to support decisions on improving sales management and increasing revenue generation and transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems management or a related field.

  • 3 – 5 years of experience with data analysis and direct interaction with key back office reporting systems and customer relationship management systems.

  • Proficient and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft’s Office Suite including Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to assess the current state, define the future state, identify gaps and present corrective action plans.

  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with competing priorities, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interpret end-user needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex and advanced analytics into easy to grasp concepts to non-technical partners.

  • Ability to support financial projects, data analysis, and budget activities.

  • Knowledge of skills, principles, and practices of accounting, financial analysis, and presentations.

  • Knowledge and application of business management, strategic planning, and project management principles and practices.

  • Support the creation of complex data analyses and provide recommendations to support decision making and achieve business goals and objectives.

  • Ability to perform data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests.

The primary duties are:

  • Pro-actively monitors, analyzes, and interprets all financial information in addition to extensive analysis and reporting of Retail & CCIT transactions and agent level sales metrics.

  • Responsible for executing complex analyses of data and being able to explain and display them in simple terms for broad understanding. The expected analyses will require extraction, transformation, and analysis of raw data for inclusion in reports.

  • Use technology to identify where issues or problems arise within monitored Distribution workflows and identify effective solutions to management.

  • Develop reporting which support management in implementing strategies to achieve departmental and business line operational efficiencies and sales goals.

  • Creates and maintains various “dashboard” reports that can be viewed and delivered to all levels of Distribution management (VP to RM) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

  • Participates in special projects as required, utilizing financial analysis, transactional data, and processes/procedural skills to support business initiatives.

  • Assists with the annual budget process for Distribution Operations. Works in Coordination with the Director of Distribution Administration on analysis and data entry

  • Supports automated solutions for manual reporting processes within Distribution Operations, including but not limited to Scorecards, Compensation, Sales Reports, Agent production reports.

  • Serves as a resource and liaison with other support departments in forecasting and reporting of revenue and transactions produced by Retail and CCIT Operations.

  • Performs data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests. Support the development of programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.

  • Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a SQL environment, and will preferably be proficient with the following:

  • Proficient and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Google Big Query or similar query editor or ETL tool such as HUE.

  • Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.

  • SharePoint, Confluence or similar web-based collaborative platform.

  • Spiff, or any other Incentive processing software.

  • Project management software.
