As the Director of Western Operations, based in Denver, CO, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the Western United States, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will lead a team of seasoned and successful professionals in project management, construction, and engineering to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with state departments of transportation and other key stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and safety standards.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of seasoned professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the Western region.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.

  • Collaborate with other departments and regional directors to share best practices and ensure a cohesive approach across the company.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, construction, or engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Prior experience in a leadership role, managing teams and operations in a multi-state region.

  • Strong understanding of the transportation infrastructure industry, particularly in the Western United States.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

    Travel

    This position requires frequent travel within the Western United States to oversee projects and meet with stakeholders.

    Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 per year
