Meta Privacy Program Manager - Control Framework | Safeguard Management in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

We partner with teams from every org to ensure people’s privacy is at the center of our products and services, and that we’re complying with our regulatory obligations — all while maintaining Facebook’s core culture. We are looking for candidates who share our passion for tackling privacy complexities head-on, to help design, build, scale, and continuously improve, industry-leading privacy programs. As a Privacy Program Manager, you will work with teams across the Facebook company to deliver processes, tools, products, infrastructure, and decisions that help us honor people’s privacy in everything we do.

Required Skills:

Privacy Program Manager - Control Framework | Safeguard Management Responsibilities:

  1. Support the design, build and execution of the global control framework to meet strategic and regulatory requirements

  2. Maintain deep working knowledge of the control framework and it’s components to ensure adoption across teams

  3. Execute Control design processes in accordance with standards and frameworks

  4. Collaborate with product, engineering and process owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with

  5. Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly

  6. Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders

  7. Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables

  8. Drive process improvements across global partners including reducing the manual efforts through automation

  9. Anticipate bottlenecks, assess risks, provide escalation management, and ensure user privacy is not compromised

  10. Exercise excellent people skills, be a team player with a bias to action

  11. Be motivated by the opportunity to solve privacy problems within an operations environment

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Policy, Political Science, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  2. 7+ years of work experience in consulting, business operations, technical program management or other operational disciplines

  3. 4+ years experience in program management with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale programs

  4. Experience in process design and process improvement in a complex cross functional environment

  5. Experience in one of the following: privacy & data protection, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, adversarial spaces, incident management or other related field

Public Compensation:

$129,000/year to $189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
