In this role, you are a key point of contact for local Business within our Central Europe Logistics, CS&L and Business Teams. You manage the interactions between business stakeholders (Logistics Operations in particular) and you prepare Sourcing Strategy and supervise its execution over our Transport and Warehousing scopes. You also manage the local implementation of regional and/or global projects.

How you will contribute

You will execute the sourcing agenda by acting as the single point of contact for the procurement function at a site, in a country or country cluster, and will oversee the daily interaction with plants, supply chain, commercial teams, quality assurance, sourcing teams and suppliers. You will work in close collaboration with other Team members accountable for the strategy development. You will also deliver performance management of our Vendor pool, specifically for the Logistics area, and in collaboration with Logistics Operations Department.

You escalate issues when needed, and support business continuity planning implementation. You execute sourcing projects and execute sourcing/spot-buying or contracting activities as agreed with the accountable colleagues and Business partners. You look for sustainable resolutions and look at always improving our standards & practices

What you will bring

  • Problem solving to ensure timely resolution of challenges

  • Working well under pressure, managing multiple priorities, dealing with ambiguity

  • Motivation for the Logistics and wider Supply Chain area,willingness, and ability to learn

  • Proficiency in communication in English – Germanis a plus.

More about this role

You will be a member of our DACH Sourcing Team which is accountable for Strategy, Contracting, Supplier Relationship Management of our Vendor pool. You will support and execute our Warehouse and Transportation strategies in DACH in the wider MEU environment.  You will be driving Performance Management and Continuous Improvement in close collaboration with our Logistics Operations Team, and the wider Supply Chain and Business functions at Mdlz (Commercial, Legal, Quality etc).

You will play a key role in gathering relevant insights of the market, peers and vendors for DACH countries. You will ideate, contribute and support delivering our sustainability agenda in MEU Logistics Procurement.

You will provide essential local connectivity to Logistics Operations and Manufacturing teams in these countries and act as first Procurement point of contact to suppliers operating within DACH.

We are looking for a self-starter, acquainted with Logistics, motivated to learn, with high standards and adaptable to a very dynamic and matrix environment. Someone able to learn, willing to deliver and create value, and yet having the ability to navigate ambiguity.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
