Job Summary:

If you are an Engineering professional, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in our Singapore location, you will handle engineering support for production and resolve manufacturing issues as well as participate and support in engineering changes, qualification and improvement. You will support production line daily sustaining activities and develop, update, and revise manufacturing procedures.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide technical support in the production line, react on any yield drop and quality non-conformance that happened in the line.

• Assists engineers to qualify process changes by conducting experiment/ tests, support on compiling and analyzing of data.

• Assists engineer to setup equipment and conduct qualification.

• Supports Engineering changes and advance deviation request implementation.

• Develops and sustains the manufacturing and safety work procedures.

• Works with engineering, production, quality and other relevant functional team on safety, quality, process, and cost reduction improvement projects.

• Applies statistical and problem-solving tools to improve the first pass yield and quality issue.

• Ensure compliance of workspace safety rules, report and provide suggestion to improve safety at work.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Diploma in Engineering with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong analytical skills, forward-thinking leaner and great teammate.

• Good interpersonal skills (verbal & written.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of Kaizen, basic problem solving skills, PLC or automation knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of software- Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio and Solidworks/ Autodesk will be an added advantage.
