YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

  • Responsible for Quality Management across the UK Business.

  • Providing an efficient, effective and integrated Business Management System (BMS) for the business, covering all key national and international standards.

  • Maintaining our certification to those standards and to any relevant client or sector schemes, and leading our internal assurance function

  • Collaborating closely with partners from other functions, our internal customer and our global colleagues to continually improve our ways of working.

YOUR TEAM

  • Comprises of 5 advisors and auditors that sit within the wider Business Excellence function, but which draws upon the contribution of many other resources based in other functions.

  • Serves all of WSP’s client-facing and support services teams in the UK and Ireland business, although there are regular opportunities to support other countries within the wider EMEA region.

  • Collaborates especially closely with the HSE function for which it provides various holistic services, and with the Strengthening Project Leadership programme with whom the focus is on achieving effective project delivery.

  • The role reports to the Head of Business Excellence, but works closely with the Head of HSEQ, Executive sponsors, and global parent functions.

  • The team is entering an exciting period of transition as we take steps to further globalise our ways of working, and following the deployment of a new ERP platform in the UK during 2024.

  • A passion for enabling effective and efficient project delivery

  • Experience of leading a Quality and/or HSEQ function in a relatively large, professional services organisation

  • A love of motivating others and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
