Job summary

Our GNSS team is looking for a Navigation Software Engineer to join the company in the Turin’s office and take responsibility for the design, development, and test of navigation algorithms to be embedded in new GNSS-based products. This is opportunity is addressed to engineers with a background on Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or equivalent scientific background.

Duties

The selected candidate will be included in the GNSS team and will be part of a multidisciplinary team with experience on GNSS, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and software developments.

The selected candidate will take the following responsibilities:

  • Analysis of features of embedded digital systems and architectures to host navigation algorithms.

  • Definition of requirements, design, modeling, and simulation of algorithms in Matlab/Simulink.

  • Software design, coding, and test in C language.

  • Support to the definition of test plans, execution of test campaigns and analysis of results.

  • Generation of SW documentation related to design, implementation, and test activities.

    Skills and experience

  • Master’s degree in Computer, or Electronic, or Communications Engineering.

  • Knowledge of digital signal processing fundamentals.

  • Good knowledge of integrated digital systems and related architectures.

  • Consolidated knowledge in the use of modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink.

  • Consolidated knowledge of C language and ability to code.

  • Able to work autonomously and/or in team.

  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints.

  • Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking (the knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

  • Knowledge of radio navigation principles and main Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GPS, Galileo), along with experience in related software developments.
