FEM ANALYST - LIFING ANALYSIS - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job location: Turin area

Role Overview:

This role is expected to support the team through several lifing-related tasks on components designed and manufactured under Client's responsibility.

  • Provide all the needed support and/or documentations for Deterministic and Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics analysis;

  • Support to Design and Lifing process (analysis, reviews, etc..);

  • Perform Safe Life calculation and Life declaration activities;

  • Follow Mechanical investigations on NPI components submitted to test on Rigs;

  • Develop tools in support of the above described activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Fluent English and Italian, both oral and written

  • Strong interpersonal skills and international team-working attitude

  • Experience on fatigue and fracture mechanics

  • Knowledge of fatigue crack growth simulations basis

  • Base knowledge of finite element modelling

  • Experience with Matlab

  • Knowledge of Ansys finite element software would be advantageous
