Amazon Logistics Japan (AMZL JP) Last Mile Execution team is seeking exceptionally bright, talented, and driven individuals to contribute to the expansion of our delivery network to its highest level. The primary goal of this program is to ensure timely package deliveries to our customers while minimizing costs.

As a Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating programs aimed at expanding the AMZL network to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs in AMZL delivery areas. In order to work with stakeholders at all levels, strong and effective communication in both verbal and written skills are essential.

Program Managers must demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to understand trade-offs with limited time and resources, enabling them to achieve optimal solutions. Instead of focusing solely on short-term fixes, Program Managers should identify root causes and develop long-term solutions to minimize or prevent future issues.

Key job responsibilities

This position offers many opportunities to develop program management and facilitation skills while gaining practical experience and knowledge through the AMZL network.

• Conduct program planning and deployment

• Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure program management and promote alignment with operational goals

• Manage program issues, risks, change management, and budget control

• Analyze the current operational status, identify improvement measures, establish issues, and formulate and test hypotheses

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years of program or project management experience

• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

• Business level English

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

• Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
