We are looking for a smart and driven Account Manager to join our Existing Seller Management (ESM) team, managing priority existing thirty-party sellers at Amazon's Marketplace in Australia. You'll join a diverse team of high performing Account Managers working with some of the top Selling Partners in the AU marketplace, with ample opportunity to grow and develop new skills.

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing large and medium sellers. They will balance their time between developing new relationships with existing sellers and assisting those sellers in enabling their account to best suit their specific needs. The candidate will work with sellers to understand their procurement requirements and then work with internal Amazon teams to determine the best solution to address the business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships across functional areas such as procurement, production, maintenance, supply chain, and IT and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.

Key job responsibilities – You will:

• Work with established Selling Partners, helping to drive growth across multiple categories.

• Work with a wide range of businesses and decision makers, from eCommerce arms of major Australian brands and retailers to smaller independent/family businesses.

• Collaborate with Product teams to help with Selling Partner education and adoption of Amazon services such as Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), Amazon Easy Ship (AES), Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF), Sponsored Advertising, and deals (including deal events such as Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday).

• Meet or exceed targets for seller account management.

• Support Selling Partner in growing their business and following best-practices to help increase traffic and sales, including improving their Amazon store page and product detail pages, leveraging Amazon Ads, promotions, deals and coupons, building their brand with Amazon Brand Registry, and managing stock and inventory.

• Analyse internal and industry data to understand the competitive landscape to identify customer behaviours, trends and new opportunities.

• Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams.

• Drive customer satisfaction.

• Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service, and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.


Our team operates out of our fabulous CBD office (conveniently located near many transportation options), and from home (during COVID-19) leveraging technology.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools

  • Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
