The main objective of the Vice President, Consulting is to enable and oversee the execution of the consulting services strategy to achieve business results. This position contributes to the development of the consulting services strategy with internal executive management.

As the APAC Head of Consulting (Vice President), you will lead a dynamic journey to establish and expand our consulting footprint, driving innovation, and delivering unparalleled value to our clients. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in building and nurturing high-performing consulting teams, forging strong client relationships, and orchestrating growth strategies tailored to the diverse landscape of the APAC market.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Establish NTT Data Inc. as a full stack business / technology transformation thought Leader .

  • Define and execute the strategy for NTT Data Inc.’s consulting practice in the region.

  • Build an innovative and agile team of consultants, leveraging existing capabilities and developing new expertise based on the consulting portfolio, target clients and capacity /capability requirements.

Financial and Operational

  • Accountable for the profitability of the consulting practice

  • Drive aggressive YoY growth.

  • Recruit and develop the team of consultants (capability / capacity).

Collaboration

  • Collaborate and partner with business and sales executives/ leaders of NTT Data Inc. to ensure a cohesive approach to position NTT Data Inc’s value proposition, drive up the company’s visibility, and create and address business opportunities.

  • Establish internal and external strategic partnership networks to drive the practice growth and enhance the expertise in the partner technologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

Technology and Industry

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of cloud, security, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, and business automation as part of IT modernization and business innovation.

  • Deep domain expertise in any of the above preferred.

  • Consulting experience across specific industries, ie. Automotive, Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, Public Sector or Healthcare, will be an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Experience in managing a multicultural team across the region.

  • Demonstrate excellent levels of client and executive engagement.

  • A motivational and inspirational leader with superior decision-making skills.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to interact professionally at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Ability to deal constructively with change and managing conflicting priorities.

  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business.

  • A strong market orientation with experience working with clients and business teams to create client-orientated solutions and services.

  • Ability to think strategically at the executive level, foster change, drive innovation and implement strategies throughout all levels of the organisation.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in technology and/or Business Management or relevant business experience.
