Water issues are becoming increasingly prominent as we struggle with disparity between water availability and demands, water pollution, and competition for limited water resources. At Jacobs, we recognize these challenges and our engineers, scientists, and planners are working together with clients to find the right solutions to their water challenges.

Jacobs Singapore would like to welcome an Assistant Engineer to join our Water team working on exciting Sewer upgrading projects across Singapore. Jacobs role is The Client's Representative for contract supervision works. Main duties:

  • Based on site, working alongside the Project Manager, Engineers, and Public Relation Officers managing stakeholders in the project

  • Carry outstanding supervision of the works in progress on-site

  • Supervising and verifying contractors’ CCTV video and inspection reports

Here’s what you’ll need :

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision; working experience in sewerage projects will be an added advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to obtain Certificate of WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Spaced Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors – Manhole (SIC)). The company will provide a training

  • Willingness to obtain Certification either under the WRc Sewer Pipeline Assessment and Certification Programme, SgSTT’s Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme, or WSQ Certified Used Water Collection Technician. The company will provide a training
