Description:

Our client is a full-service civil engineering firm who is looking for a Survey CAD Technician to join their team in Silver Spring, MD! This is a long-term position with various growth opportunities within the Land Development and Land Surveying industry. Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the drafting and CADD production.

• Responsible for preparing exhibits, sketches, drawings, and plans for civil engineering projects located predominately in the state of Maryland.

• Responsible for assisting other professionals with other support level jobs such as surveying, construction inspection, utility mapping and coordination, and other duties as determined by the Sector Division Manager.

• Typical plans they will draft include stormwater, storm drain, water and sewer plans, erosion and sediment control plans, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2-5+ years of field/office surveying experience

• At least 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (preferably in Civil3D)

• Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week

• Knowledge of other programs such as Bentley's MicroStation and ESRI's ArcGIS is a plus
