Amazon Software Development Engineer II , PAragon Case Management Insights Data Platform in Seattle, Washington

Paragon Case Management Insights (PCMI) Data Platform team’s mission is to empower Selling Partner (SP) Support Operations, SP Support Experience & Root-cause teams and Case Management tenants to make data driven decisions and derive insights.

As a Big Data Software Engineer, We have an immediate need for creative and driven Software Engineer who have a passion for building systems that have a measurable impact. The right candidate will be innovative and technically versatile and help build metrics for business and operational performance to be used on daily basis. You will work on enabling the launch of Data Lakehouse using NAWS architecture as a new data-warehousing solution designed to optimize ELT for analytics platform, real time streaming and global catalog for the data lake. Build data pipelines framework using CDK constructs and CICD automated packages to reduce operational overhead and increase development velocity for data engineering.

Contribute to evolving the technical direction of SPS analytical Systems and play a critical role their design and development

Build and support billing pipeline responsible for handling all impacting events in Selling partners domain in real-time.

You will research, design and code, troubleshoot and support. What you create is also what you own.

Develop the next generation of automation tools for monitoring and measuring data quality, with associated user interfaces.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
