Flexible Load Management, Analytics and Electrification

Location: Reston, VA Preferred (Remote – Home Office with occasional Travel)

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will be part of the Growth, Engagement, and Insights (GEI) team. The GEI team operates across many aspects of demand side management including FLM, Analytics, Electrification and other teams including marketing and outreach, IT, customer care, strategic initiatives, and national offerings. Organization, campaign development, budget management, and team communication skills are exhibited strengths. What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams to enhance analytics-driven decision-making that supports program development, sales, and delivery.

  • Manage and forecast budgets across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and monitoring of financial health.

  • Monitor profitability, proposing necessary adjustments to improve financial outcomes.

  • Facilitate communication across various teams, business units, internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Contribute to new business initiatives, including RFP responses, pricing strategies, and statement of work (SOW) development.

  • Participating in new business including responding to RFPs, developing pricing and estimates, and writing SOWs.

  • Developing new processes and tools to improve operational efficiency.

  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel. Requirements are occasional travel to Reston, VA. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education).

  • 1+ years of Experience in financial analysis, preferably in the energy sector.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$59,469.00 - $101,098.00
