Role Purpose

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the start-up, initiation and day to day execution management of corporate projects throughout the organisation to support tactical and business strategy initiatives within the Portfolio of Program and Projects. The PM is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and to the specified quality levels.

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

• Strong leadership and management skills;

• Ability to run effective project meetings with and strong facilitation skills

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without compromising close to detail and accuracy;

• Sound knowledge of IT technologies; SDLC processes and tools

• Experience in Vendor performance management and contract negotiations

• Knowledge and experience of in various project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile.

• Exposure to various delivery models – Agile, Scrum, Product teams, Kanban

• Process improvement background and/or skills

• Strong presentation and report writing skills

• Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

• Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.

Experience

• At least 10 years' experience leading large cross functional teams within both business and IT domains

• At least 8 to 10 years' experience in implementing process change and large complex IT systems across a broad geographical area;

• Experience in implementing CRM, ERP, Data Migration or a Digital Transformation Program

• Experience in business projects such as start ups; joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions

Qualifications

• Possess a suitable certification and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management or AgilePM, PRINCE2 certification is desirable.

• Bachelors in Business, IT or related field

• Scrum Master, Product Manager Certification, PMP, Six Sigma
