Introduction

GlobalFoundries is looking for a highly motivated TOC Deck Integration Senior Engineer to work in the Global Tapeout Organization, based in Penang. In this role you will support FE, TD, EDA and Fabs in pre-tapeout and tapeout phases of prototype, in the area of layer generation operation and tapeout flow.

Your Job

• Provide technical support to Field Engineer to ensure customer requirements are implemented.

• Provide technical support to Module engineer/Process Integration engineer to ensure all requirements and changes are implemented.

• Implement, integrate and qualification of layer generation (Dataprep) and tapeout flow.

• Coach team members in methodologies and procedures for writing & qualifying LG & Dataprep scripts.

• Drive & initiate continuous improvement programs and automation.

• Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• Min 3 years of experience in wafer fabrication or IC design environment.

• Knowledge of design rule verification tools e.g. Calibre

• Knowledge of Basic programming language.

• Familiarity with Linux, Python, Tcl and/or Cloud computing will be an added advantage.

Other Essential Attributes:

• Good inter-personal and communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to interact effectively with both external and internal customers at all levels and from various cultural backgrounds. Good PSDM skill.
