The Marketing and Communications team is the team that develops marketing and creative strategies for our enterprise brands. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team you will be a driver in B2B Global Sales success, playing an essential role developing the overall marketing strategies and tactical plans for Global Sales Marketing, driving qualified leads and ultimately, revenue, through all Global Sales channels. You will work closely with talented marketing and sales professionals to ensure we have best-in-class marketing in market in all areas of the global sales marketing funnel.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the annual plan and roadmap, creating strategies to meet sales goals in each of the key Global Sales customer segments.

  • Manage and implement sales communications plans and integrated campaigns across B2B markets to generate leads and drive business with clients.

  • Maintain a comprehensive communications calendar and communicate with the sales organizations in advance of all distributions.

  • Proactively recommend best marketing channel approach and related content to drive engagement and qualified leads, such as paid media, organic media, email, newsletters, whitepapers, thought leadership content, webinars, and sales collateral.

  • Work closely with internal creative team and external agencies to develop content plans, execute creative, gain internal approvals, and deploy all messaging, from brief to launch.

  • Manage measurement of all programs and provide reporting against KPIs to key stakeholders.

  • Own plan and execution of marketing automation— using Pardot and Salesforce to drive CRM (Customer Relationship Marketing) strategies and lead tracking.

  • Support major Global Sales events including all marketing collateral, booth design and development, scheduling tool and surveys, and attends key shows to ensure success metrics are met.

  • Manage Global Sales budgets wholistically and by channel, and provides financial reporting to Director, Marketing.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, or related field, from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3-4 years relevant experience in B2B marketing/communications in a hospitality company, travel management company, franchise company, financial/tech firm or related industry.

  • Knowledge of key hospitality B2B sales marketing channels including TMC, Consortia, Groups/Meetings, 3rd Party and Corporate highly preferred.

  • Experience with marketing automation (i.e. Pardot) highly preferred.

  • Experience with B2B groups/meetings/events execution or planning preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in driving and executing implementation of sales communications/marketing plans.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of integrated marketing, media and content channels, and tactics.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated project management and negotiation skills.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, B2B Marketing. You will have 3 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our B2B Marketing Manager, Global Sales you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days.
