NOW HIRING : Deli and Café Associate

At The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, we are currently hiring a temporary part-time Deli and Café Associate to join our amazing team and assist in all operational needs of the Erie Shore Café and Deli. Ensure the highest quality baked goods and deli offerings are produced daily while providing excellent customer service and a great experience for each customer!

DELI AND café ASSOCIATE Responsibilities

• Greet every customer quickly in a friendly manner

• Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented to customers in a timely manner

• Work closely with management to immediately address all customer concerns

• Confirm orders with the kitchen staff whenever a clarification is requested

• Learn all menu items and manner of preparation

• Prepares food following all safety regulations

• Accurately and efficiently performs cash register operations

• Practices food safety according to Agency and Health department regulations

• Other tasks as requested by management

  Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, hours will vary based on need of the deli and café.

  Work Location: Erie Shore Deli & Cafe, 50 East Ave, Newark, NY 14513

  DEli and Cafe Position Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED preferred. Will consider relevant experience in lieu of education

• 1 year restaurant experience preferred

• Must be able to work standing for entire shift

• Strong customer service skills required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to work in customer service or kitchen areas as needed
