Position Summary : The Provider Recruitment Associate will support the growth of Tidelands Health through the support of the front end and back end of the provider recruitment process. The Provider Recruitment Associate will assist with identifying qualified provider candidates and developing talent pipelines for future needs. In addition, the Provider Recruitment Associate will engage recently hired providers providing support and guidance to ensure successful navigation of the pre-hire and orientation process.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish highly effective working relationships with internal and external customers, physician leaders and all stakeholder departments.

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques and databases.

  • Complete initial screens for identified candidates.

  • Work with Marketing on campaign development.

  • Work to identify new, unique sourcing techniques.

  • Build relationships by communicating regularly with new providers prior to hire and ensure timely completion of the pre-hire process.

  • Performs periodic “check ins” with new providers throughout the pre-hire process to ensure they are familiar with process and timelines.

  • Ensure that all administrative and logistical issues have been addressed prior to each new hire’s start date.

  • Assist with updating and maintaining recruitment reports including any changes potential start dates for new providers based on credentialing requirements.

  • Assist the new physician/advanced clinical provider with the details of relocation, as needed, including connecting the physician with relocation resources and contacts. Proactively identify opportunities for their family to become established and engaged in the community.

  • Coordinates provider orientation schedules and assures that the regulatory assignments for orientation are met.

  • Collaborates with provider recruitment team to ensure resources are continually updated including forms, websites, and other department material.

  • Serve as a resource on global pre-hire policies and procedures for newly hired providers and Tidelands Health leaders.

  • Seek out new ideas and best practices to incorporate into the organization’s recruitment efforts.
