As an Application Engineer, you will:

Be responsible for technically supporting Copeland Global OEMs and the internal sales team.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Knowledgeable in HVACR equipment operation and quality metrics

• Skills: Tech savvy, ensures accountability, action-oriented, communicates effectively, manages complexity, customer focus, plans and aligns, instills trust, and optimizes work processes.

• Spanish and English proficiency

• Travel requirements: Up to 25%

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Support for the full Copeland product portfolio (compressors, controls, and accessories) to Global OEMs including but not limited to:

• Product selection

• Engineering Support for new product implementations and engineering changes

• Production Line Support for pilot runs and standard production.

• Product Quality Control and Warranty Administration

• PPAPs and Sample Coordination

• Proactively interact with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, Sales, and Operations

• Act as a liaison between the customer and Copeland´s product engineering and manufacturing teams

• Development of Application Profiles

• Customer Training

• Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences.
