Eaton Corporation Sales Operations Team Leader in Mascot, Australia

Eaton's Electrical PDSS Business is currently seeking a Sales Operations Team Leader to join our team. This position is based at our Mascot, Sydney facility.

Our Power Distribution Systems & Services Division (PDSS) offers power management solutions predominantly in renewable, mining, industrial, utility, commercial, data centres, mission critical infrastructure, residential, construction, transport networks and healthcare segments. Our custom engineered products and services are designed with a mission of achieving unparalleled safety while helping our customers on their mission to reduce their consumption and enter the carbon neutral world.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Sales Operations Team Leader to manage the team responsible for delivering exceptional services to our customers in the areas of field projects, services, and customized products solutions deliveries. The successful candidate will drive each dedicated business area to successful completion and navigate customer satisfaction to deliver acceptable outcomes. This role is also responsible to manage business unit sales forecasting, reports and analytics. This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Monitor and evaluate organizational sales performance.

  • Monitor and evaluate orders execution for projects, services and products.

  • Manage daily operations of sales support functions, including order processing, customer responses, data collections, CRM updates and reporting.

  • Develop and train internal resources, actively guide, coach and mentor.

  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify business opportunities that would generate more revenue resources and increase the company's profitability.

  • Meet with existing potential clients to discuss and negotiate business activities, responding to their inquiries and concerns, and addressing their requests.

  • Direct and coordinate activities of sales support personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget including supply chain, warehouse, engineer, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers and field service personnel.

  • Manage relationships with overseas factories for order intake and provide monthly and quarterly forecasting.

  • Manage internal and external resources, schedules, and key project deliverables and outcomes.

  • Improve existing processes, develop and document new processes and maintain knowledge database.

  • Provide the sales forecasts and long-term estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelors in Business, Commerce or Finance

  • 5 plus years of experience in an operations sales management capacity

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle or Salesforce

  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of internal sales or project coordinators.
