Maintenance Technician (Marshall TX) * Job Function:* Under direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician must provide support to production while following all safety procedures and policies. Job Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, machine drawings, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics schematics
• Trouble shoots programmable controllers
• Trouble shoots equipment with CNC pneumatics and hydraulic controls
• Installs wiring, pneumatic and hydraulic controls
• Adjusts and calibrates machines
• Removes, replaces and or repairs machinery
• Takes work orders out of maintenance system and completes in a timely manner
• Completes parts requisitions in maintenance system with correct part numbers and vendors
• Insures all safety and lock out / tag out procedures are followed
• Initiates and participates in process improvements and is part of the implementation group
• Initiates self-directed activities
• Responsible for parts inventory
• Provides schedules for preventative maintenance on equipment and adheres to the published standard

• Standing: Most of the day ( more than 5 hours per day)
• Sitting: Most of the day ( more than 5 hours per day)
• Walking: Most of the day ( more than 5 hours per day)
• Bending: Occasionally
• Lifting: medium (less than 100 lbs.)
• Carry: medium (50- 80 lbs.)
• Pushing/Pulling: under 50 lbs without assistance frequently

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Self-direction and initiative
• Interpret schematics
• Technical support skills
• Must be able to work well in teams with other employees
• Follow all safety and environment regulations
• Valid Drivers License - looking for a clean MVR

Experience Requirement:

• 5 years industrial maintenance to include pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
• Electrical license or 5 years industrial electrical experience preferred

Education Requirement:

• High School Diploma
• Technical School Training preferred considered in lieu of experience
