Summary of Role:

Designing systems and processes to increase the productivity of manufacturing.

Essential Responsibilities:

Designing systems and processes to increase the productivity of manufacturing. Development of capacity models to analysis FAB Utilization. Recommend improvements to increase operating performance, reduce waste and delays and promote cost control/reductions. Cross functional coordination between all other teams of the fab such as finance, facilities, ramp, and supply chain to plan fab capacity and support Manufacturing Operations and Advanced Module Engineering to ultimately improve factory output and reduce cycle time. Understand Capacity Planning System, analytical reports with real time data and methods to calculate fab capacity. Update and run the capacity model for both ramp plans and new product introductions. Analyze capacity output and make recommendations on fab tooling purchases, retrofits, or transfers. Support various departments in improving factory output using advanced analytics. Participate in and/or lead process improvement teams and other small project technical teams. Develop and monitor plant wide capex forecast by working with module, facilities, construction, and finance teams to roll up to companywide capex forecast and targets. Lead discussions on budget optimization. Develop controlled approval processes to enable efficient capex to spend. Summarize and communicate budget forecast and actions at Executive leadership level.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or similar field of study.

  • Experience – 6 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a similar role. 6 years of experience is required in: (1) Working with cross functional teams; (2) Factory Physics and Principles; (3) Capacity Planning; (4) Capex Forecasting and Budgeting; (5) Experience with simulation models; (6) Oracle Systems; (7) Experience with creating new change control processes. International Travel 5%.

Salary range: $126,278– $170,000

Expected Salary Range

Salary range: $126,278– $170,000
