JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Pediatric Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Program Manager will co-lead and oversee the development and implementation of departmental medical student programming, as well as ongoing program evaluation, improvement, and expansion; partnering with key stakeholders including the Director of Pediatric UME; Course Directors; and Program Specialist and Assistant. The UME Program Manager will evaluate existing academic program strategy and make recommendations for program enhancement, as well as propose and implement new or revised policies and procedures to comply with accrediting and institutional rules and medical school education requirements. Other responsibilities will be to: establish collaborations across the department, school, and university which support medical student programming; maintain documentation such as curriculum reports and course and teaching faculty evaluation data for departmental stakeholders; and provide medical students information about educational options and career/residency advising resources. The UME Program Manager will serve as a direct supervisor to the Medical Education Specialist.
