JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: In support of the Wisconsin office of the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center (MATEC-WI) and under the direction of the MATEC-WI Clinical Director, the Program Director supervises the planning and implementation of MATEC-WI training and educational programs and activities. The Program Director is responsible for planning and leading operational, outreach, and promotional activities of service grants and serves as a subject matter expert. In this role, the Program Director supervises a staff team, as well as develops a strategic plan for delivering training and capacity building activities for healthcare teams. MATEC-WI is part of a regional, HRSA federally-funded HIV/AIDS training and education center (AETC) for health care professionals and is based at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, with outreach to other locations in the state. The ability to communicate and work effectively in a wide variety of contexts will be essential as the work involves planning and coordinating educational activities for health care providers and clinical staff working in diverse settings.
