Lead Responsibilities: Helps oversee the day-to-day workflow of production staff directed by Operations Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinates the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customers needs. Safeguards appropriate production rate to decrease delivery delays. Collaborates with the customer service and sales departments to identify and resolve quality concerns. Supports identifying any possible bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays. Assists purchasing in identifying possible materials shortages or interruptions. Works with maintenance to avoid downtime or delays due to maintain machines used in production process. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with computerized materials control programs. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, or related field required.
