Robert Half has a fantastic career opportunity for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative. This Indianapolis, Indiana Customer Service Representative position could be for you, if you're available for a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.

How you will make an impact

  • Handle incoming telephone calls

  • May support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Offer friendly, accurate customer service in a timely fashion

  • Field and send out send written business correspondence

    Requirements - Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

  • Proven computer skills

  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Expertise in navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer service

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word

  • Adeptness in numeric data entry

  • Data entry experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of call centers

  • No stranger to performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired
