Job Description

The regional Regulatory Affairs teams support the regional and global compliance programs across IFF product lines. Deep regulatory knowledge of the applicable regulatory requirements for the specific products in their intended applications allows the teams to provide the regulatory support to our internal and external stakeholders so that our products comply with the applicable regulations. Close relationship with customers and solid understanding of customer needs is an important aspect of the role.

The Regional Regulatory Scent EAME Analyst is part of a team in the European creative center in Hilversum (The Netherlands), and liaises with other Regulatory Affairs departments around the world, supporting the Scent product line for the European, African and Middle-East (EAME) market.

The main responsibility includes providing support to your colleague for completion of a specific project linked to a customer regulatory questionnaire in time.

Further responsibilities may evolve into the area of

  • Supporting other regulatory related documentation projects

  • Gain understanding of the Scent (Fragrance) business and the IFF Regulatory Affairs procedures/practices

  • Learn regulatory field of fragrances and customer policies

  • Interpret and ensure compliance of fragrances prior to customer submission

  • Act as primary local regulatory interface for local creative teams, EAME commercial teams and assigned customers by providing regulatory expertise and guidance support aligned with business priorities

  • Learn knowledge on local regulatory procedures to ensure regional compliance and regulatory requirements and timelines are met.

Job Requirements

The minimum requirements are the following:

  • Entry level Bachelors degree or High School diploma plus 6 years of experience

  • Candidates with less degree or experience are invited to apply as well.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs

  • Great organizational skills, high attention to detail, customer focused

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent in English

  • Work well in a team
