We are looking for Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer in a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. The program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise and via remote Cloud services. As a mission focused Systems Engineer that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: Recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine alternative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions and rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.

Our Windows Infrastructure team engineers and develops solutions to customer requirements around Server 2016 -2019 OS platforms. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and makes recommendations. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirement into total systems solution that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Tests, debugs, and assists in the refinement of system products. Designs, implements, and documents efficient procedures for the distribution and installation of changes to IT systems. Prepares required documentation, including both program level and user level documentation.

Performs functional analysis on customer systems configuration issues, and provides Tier 3/4 support to problem resolution as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a minimum of three (3) years' experience. A bachelor's or master's Degree are preferred with significant experience in the following areas:

• Hands on experience with Server 2016 or higher

• Extensive on the job experience with Global Windows CORE infrastructure Management configuration and architecture such as AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and DC

• Working knowledge of Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)

• Experience in staging, piloting and fully deploying releases to an operational environment while maintaining the integrity of the existing production baseline

• Proven ability to adhere to an approved change control process

• Extensive knowledge of sites and services configuration and architecture

• Experience with applying member services baseline across multiple enterprise environments

• Significant experience preparing technical documentation for complex system

• Demonstrated on the job experience with virtualization technology (Hyper-V VMWare) and new technologies such Nutanix

• Working knowledge and use of PowerShell

• Experience with DevOps tools to include JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Ability to and deploy custom infrastructure as code using various tools such as GITHUB, Jenkins, and Powershell

• Understanding of Enterprise Networking best practices

• MCSE/MCIT certs

• Experience with automated unit testing

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
