Applied Materials DFT-PVD Product Marketing IV in Hefei, China
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that product market position is optimized, via timely product introduction, aggressive account penetration, appropriate pricing strategy and all other proper measures.
Ensure that Applied Materials has current market data, including account potential, activity of competition, pricing and applications information.
Identify customer’s strategy and HVP. Build up product & business strategy with DVS solution.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps, competitive analysis with DPY/ CoO model.
Define and manage product differentiation strategy and identify key sustainable differentiations that enable premium value pricing.
Ensure that Manufacturing is supplied with accurate, timely information for planning build schedules. Supply all other required Applied organizations with accurate forecasts for their individual needs, as required.
In conjunction with R&DE, ensure appropriate prioritization of the Applications Laboratory workload to maximize the effectiveness of demos & development to meet forecasted customer needs and Applied Materials' product strategies/goals.
Ensure the timely response to all customer and internal inquiries, requests for quotes, specials and other specific requests in a manner which will allow Applied Materials to capitalize on available opportunities.
Provide product and marketing support to the direct Sales force as needed. Ensuring a synergistic account approach and optimization of all opportunities for account penetration.
Ensure the adequacy of current product lines to meet forecasted customer needs, and determine necessary actions to fulfill those needs, including modification of existing products, processes, etc., as needed. Where possible, enhance product life to optimize profit margins.
Ensure that all needed market information is gathered and disseminated to appropriate Applied departments as required. Ensure the validity of all data reported.

Job Specific Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of display or semiconductor market and industry
3 + years relevant experience in Display / Semiconductor equipment
Display / Semiconductor application and device knowledge.
Skills and Ability
Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, technical, communication skills
Superior negotiation skill and technical trade knowledge.
Able to travel domestic or international frequently.
Capable on multi tasks and overall project management
Strong business and financial acumen
