about Job

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Team Leader, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and leading a team responsible for delivering services to the clients. You are responsible for leading a team and look into operations function within the overall hiring lifecycle. You will interact frequently with the team, clients, recruiters, Sr. leaders, interviewers and other important stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the project.

As a team leader, you’ll develop strategies necessary to meet the client’s expectations based on agreed SLAs. You will monitor and assist your team in a matrix-based environment to ensure the maximum productivity, and on-time completion of targets and goals. You’re also responsible to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the client.

primary responsibilities

  • Client Management – be a consultative business partner to hiring managers, executive stakeholders and sponsors

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, ensuring excellent service delivery and addressing any client concerns or issues promptly.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, expectations, and goals.

  • Account Development - identify staffing needs, offer innovative employment solutions and drive strategic initiatives within the program

  • Supplier Management - monitor relationships with staffing suppliers and manage fulfillment of positions

  • Operations Management – oversee day-to-day operations of our program

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.

  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals, and monitor progress towards achieving them.

  • Provide visibility that enables partnership through reporting & forecasting

  • Constantly make us better, faster and more effective

  • Effectively deliver Randstad’s operational standards with excellence

other responsibilities

  • Support client hiring goals through efficient interview coordination and scheduling

  • Oversee the delivery of MSP services to clients, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics are met or exceeded.

  • Monitor the quality of services delivered by the team, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvement initiatives as needed.

  • Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on criteria such as pricing, quality, reliability, and reputation.

  • Conduct thorough vendor assessments, including background checks, reference checks, and reviews of past performance.

  • Monitor vendor performance against established SLAs and KPIs, identifying any deviations or areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and evaluations, providing feedback and addressing issues as necessary.

  • Experience with onboarding vendors onto the VMS platform, including collecting and verifying vendor information, documentation, and compliance requirements.

  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process within the VMS, from requisition and purchase order creation to vendor selection and contract negotiation.

  • Tracking contract terms, milestones, and expiration dates within the system to ensure compliance and renewal management.

  • Leveraging the VMS to ensure vendor compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.

  • Customizing the VMS platform to align with specific business processes, workflows, and reporting requirements.

  • Overall influence to the account P&L & expenses and monitor account activities to ensure compliance.

required skill-set & qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree from a UGC/AICTE accredited university

  • 7-9 years of corporate experience, preferably in a staffing or recruitment industry

  • 2-3 years of minimum experience in a leadership role/team handling

  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal, and mentoring skills

  • Proficiency using Google/Microsoft email, calendaring and cloud based tools

  • Proficiency in using VMS, CRM, ATS and HRIS tools

  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Experience in resolving conflicts and gaining cooperation among peers, staff, and client

  • Process improvement/continuous improvement or project management skills

  • Client relationship management, customer service and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in complex environment and deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and challenges

  • Positive attitude and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
