SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Custodian is a collaborative member of the overall Kroc team focused on providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers in support of the programs and mission of the Kroc. This role emphasizes housekeeping activities and support to other team members to ensure effective operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. Directly responsible for housekeeping activities to ensure a clean, healthy environment for employees and guests; ability to utilize various cleaning chemicals and equipment (incl. mop/bucket, carpet vacuums and extractors, floor machines, power washers and scrubbers, etc.). Ensure all restrooms and other common areas are maintained and stocked at all times including attention to soap dispensers, toweling, waste cans, and other ongoing daily needs that may require repeated attention due to facility usage. Respond promptly to radio calls and other contacts seeking facilities team member assistance, communicating well and being ready and willing to assist with facility needs. Receive deliveries and ensure items are stored properly or the appropriate contact is advised of the delivery. Assist other facilities crew members with light maintenance or setup/teardown activities as needed.
