We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unaccompanied Children (UC) Clinician to join our client's team in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

$62,000-$65,000

Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish required.

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, from an accredited institution.

  • Valid LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC.

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with a residential population and experience in staff supervision preferred.

  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team in a residential treatment setting is preferred.

Job Descriptions

  • Promote a holistic therapeutic approach, with specific attention and support to include supportive adults in programming, engaging supportive adults in treatment, and empowering supportive adults to determine direction for clients and themselves.

  • Provide oversight at weekly team meetings and work with the Home Supervisor in overseeing daily routines, program implementation, and establishing a therapeutic milieu.

  • Collaborate with the Wellness and Education staff to assure the delivery of services.

  • Assist and support all staff within their department in the effective carrying out of their roles and responsibilities.

  • Develop treatment plans for each client, working with the Wellness Specialist, the Educational Coordinator, Home Supervisor, the client's Goal Worker, and the supportive adults. Make appropriate clinical decisions about activities, groups, and events in which the client should participate.

  • Provide individual and group (at least twice weekly) therapy.

  • Work closely with the Home Supervisor, providing clinical oversight, in the continued development, monitoring, and staffing of a therapeutic milieu in the program.

  • Track information, beginning at intake and admission, through treatment and into aftercare, which becomes part of the statistical data bank of Wedgwood.

  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring utilization and outcome data, including quarterly reporting for the all-agency report card.

  • Responsible for quality assurance compliance, including but not limited to participating in peer supervision, peer utilization reviews, compliance with service delivery criteria, and reporting requirements for each individual served.

  • Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee's roles and functions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $62,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
