In part because team members are empowered to do what it takes to get the job done to allow for a good work-life balance * Work as part of a collaborative, supportive, and high performing team * Professional development opportunities Responsibilities * Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients. * Perform hydrographic surveys, construction layouts, boundary and ALTA surveys, plats, condominiums, site development surveys, engineering design surveys and 3D Laser Scanning/LiDAR. * Work in the field, home office and from remote locations as assigned. * Perform basic CAD related tasks as needed. * Conduct research of company project files and at register of deeds offices. * Download and transfer data files from field collection equipment to internal company project folders. * Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets as well as project notes. * Maintain positive working relationships with all clients. * Assist with marketing, proposal preparation, budgeting, and project management. * Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Must have 4 or more years of relevant experience. * Must be able to operate a robotic total station and GPS in both static and RTK modes. * Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be comfortable working at heights and on water bodies as assigned. * Familiarity with hydrographic surveying equipment and techniques, 3D Laser Scanning/LiDAR, HAZWOPER certification, UAS licensing, GIS, and MDOT design surveys/Microstation geopak are desirable and will give the potential candidate an advantage over others. * Must be able to operate with a high degree of independence. * Basic computer (CAD & data collection) skills. * Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Apply today to join one of the 101 Best & Brightest Companies to work for!
