[This position is responsible for routine processing of eggs and day-old poults in the Hatchery while maintaining a clean work environment. • Transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers;
• Ensuring the initial pull of hatched poults from the hatchers to forward to the Service Room;
• Assisting as needed with the count of poults hatched;
• Assisting as needed in all departments as needed to keep production running;
• Preparing the pull order for the following day;
• Running and monitoring the tray washer;
• Cleaning and disinfecting racks and hatchers with appropriate chemicals;
• Assisting maintenance with unloading deliveries of supplies;
• Lifting crates or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds;
• Pushing or pulling up to 150lbs. with assistance;
• Following all animal welfare and biosecurity protocols and procedures of the department during production.
