Digital and Media Asst Manager

This role is to lead media planning and activation across the Nordics and Ireland business, working closely with cross-functional teams (across sales & marketing) and key media agencies to deliver best-in-class TTL media campaigns, driving best practice.

This position reports into the Senior Media Manager and is based at High Wycombe (hybrid)

What will you do

The Digital and Media Asst Manager will be responsible for the planning, delivery and performance of TTL digital and offline media channels for our consumers and key customers to ultimately help to deliver brand growth. Your expertise across media planning, buying and production process will be crucial in helping us to unlock value across the annual and campaign planning phase, working closely with the other Digital & Media leads and cross-functionally to ensure we deliver outstanding campaigns across touch points, supporting our digital-first agenda and delivering strong returns on investment across paid channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic support and guidance across media planning for the Nordics and Ireland business for marketing and other business functions

  • Supporting brands with media briefing, considering strategic inputs into the plans, ensuring agencies have developed a best-in-class, multi-channel brand campaigns are applied across all plans

  • Support the brand teams in defining the integrated comms brief and ensure all the key strategic inputs (business, brand, consumer, content) are considered

  • Provide local Nordics and Ireland media landscape overview and updates to marketing and other business functions

  • Work with media lead to ensure Nordics and Ireland are included in all ROI and media sufficiency assessments provided to hit our media targets

  • Work with key agency partners (Onevue & media owners) to maximise the effectiveness (results) and efficiency (cost, reach & frequency) of digital campaigns

  • Share key business information (process, guidelines) with stakeholders in the Nordics and Ireland (BA lead, Country Lead)

  • Drive the Nordics and Ireland retail media agenda. Building relationships with key retailers, aligning with brands and local activation/commercial team to start utilizing retail media as a standard pillar in our planning.

  • Ensure historical campaign learnings are shared, scaled and fed back through into brand plans (e.g. audience, channel performance, creative performance), including market intelligence & MMM)

  • Build relationships with power partners (e.g. Google, Amazon, Meta & The Trade Desk) ensuring media opportunities are leveraged and planned, JBP and spend commitments are delivered against

  • Improve the value of our paid media. Tracking performance to ROI, challenging brands and OneVue to increase value.

  • Drive ongoing optimization of internal / agency planning processes and ways of working by monitoring performance, listening to and providing feedback

  • Support Media Lead in agency annual evaluations

  • Supporting the decisioning process of regional and global data-driven initiatives and pilots, working with key agency partners (e.g. OneVue)

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in media

  • Experience working with marketing teams, creative and media agencies to plan digital marketing campaigns across multiple online channels for national brands.

  • Strong communication skills with confidence to frequently present, with an ability to communicate effectively to varying levels of stakeholders (junior – senior)

  • Well organized, focused & able to set prioritize effectively

  • Good knowledge about digital media to improve our digital first agenda

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Sound understanding of the consumer data privacy landscape

  • Up to date with the latest trends and standard methodologies in online marketing and measurement.

  • Strong process and project management skills

  • Must be able to work well in cross functional teams
