Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell Building Technologies deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of building control products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and lead a team of hardware engineers to develop and deliver high-quality products

  • Participate in Ideation and development of hardware architecture roadmap

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

  • 10+ years of experience in hardware design and development for a high volume, commercial equipment environment.

  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies

  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools

  • Experience with hardware testing and validation

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
