NDCP Financial Analyst in Duluth, Georgia

Overview

The Financial Analyst will have responsibilities to help prepare forBudget,Forecast,reportingandanalysisin several areas within the Company’s finances, providing company stakeholders with an understanding of the drivers in variances. The Analyst will be thesubject matter experton all things relating to the areas they work, as it pertains to the various internal users of this data, and its derivatives. This will necessitate regular coordination with various internal groups to ensure alignment. Additionally, the Analyst will play a role indeveloping robust financial models,pro-forma financial statements,and other requirements as part of high-visibility corporate strategic initiatives. The Analyst must haveorganizationaland time management skills,and theability to solution.

Location:Duluth, GA (Hybrid/Remote)

Compensation:Competitive Salary with bonus potential. Paid weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist preparing the budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with key business functions to understand the activities driving financial performance and coordinate related inputs.

  • Develop financials models and proactively look for ways to improve existing models & processes.

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support functional teams across the business to drive decision making and support business activities.

  • Perform detailed analysis of financial metrics, providing insights to management.

  • Analyze past results by performing variance analysis and identify trends to make recommendations for improvement.

  • Support monthly financial reporting by providing analysis of financial results in comparison with expectations and past performance. Perform analysis and write up key takeaways or findings in a non-financial voice for understanding across the organization.

  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

    Supervision Exercised

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration required.

  • Master’s degree in business administration or similar preferred.

  • 1-2 years of relevant FP&A experience required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Intermediate experience of Excel & PowerPoint.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple often competing interests while working independently.

  • Strong grasp of general business, financial concepts, and accounting principles.

  • Some understanding of SAP a plus.

  • Strong analytical, data analytics and research skills required.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present to groups and Board of Directors.

  • Willingness and ability to drive results, work with a sense of urgency, “make it happen” and embrace NDCP’s Culture of Accountability.

    Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to operate a computer key board and to view a computer screen for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
