Nick Corieri from Robert Half has another great accounting job opportunity with one of his best client companies. This position would be great for someone who enjoys a steady workflow and being able to contribute to a small team within a larger accounting department. This role is for a Staff Accountant, who will work on various tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up to date

• Prepare and post journal entries as required

• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Utilize various software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform accounting tasks efficiently and effectively

• Ensure customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve any inquiries related to credit

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger management

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Experience in handling Month End Close activities

• Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
