Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for Medical City Heart and Spine dedicated service lines.

• Overall direction and business development, marketing physician relations, and community outreach. Directs all departments and financial functions connected with the day-to-day Management of the entity and performs additional duties at the request of the Vice President of Business Development.

• Consults with medical staff members; remains fully informed regarding the views of the medical staff as to the quality of medical practice and patient care within the dedicated service lines.

• Oversees the planning, control, and effective utilization of the physical, financial and human resources of the service lines.

• Maintains awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensures that the entity has an active and continuous marketing plan that meets the overall strategic objectives.

• Ensures that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operation of the service lines.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in overseeing the operations of similar services.

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care. The facilities are located near Medical City Dallas. We offer minimally invasive vascular surgery and other specialized heart care. The facility has a dedicated cardiac emergency room. Medical City Spine Hospital has 25+ beds. It provides spine care for common spine disorders. Spine care is also provided for rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities. Those include adult and pediatric scoliosis and spondylolistheses. We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
