Citigroup Info Sec Engineering Lead Analyst- Unisys Platform in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico

The Info Sec Engineering Lead Analyst - Unisys Platforms is a senior level professional position responsible of support the security applications under its control. The overall objective of this role is to support the security apps on Unisys Mainframe, driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The role is in charge to execute the secure software development life cycle watching information security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's security policy.

Unisys mainframe expert developer, Info security expert for entitlement management ABAC / PBAC model for internal applications. Application manager of control access solutions in UNISYS mainframe CBOL/ALGOL applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups.

  • Develop enhancements and maintenance upgrades of assigned applications on required platforms.

  • Resolve any vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure.

  • Analyze source code to mitigate identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system.

  • Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk.

  • Scan and analyze applications with automated tools, and perform manual testing if necessary.

  • Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions.

  • Direct the development and delivery of secure solutions by coordinating with business and technical contacts.

  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives.

  • Elaborate technology domain roadmap of applications assigned.

  • Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals.

  • Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.

  • Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes.

  • Advise or mentor junior team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in mainframe CBOL/ AGOL apps.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication English and Spanish.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

  • Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 engineering support for assigned systems.

  • Coordinate scheduled application changes to comply with standards of Citi and risk & control requirements.

  • Identify, develop, and implement technology improvements for Unisys mainframe applications and ensure alignment with Citi information security standards.

  • Support business and security operational teams during any routine or critical troubleshooting event.

  • Evaluate new technologies to provide recommendations to simplify system complexity and reduce costs.

  • Coordinate technology development teams to ensure alignment with Citi’s software development lifecycle.

  • Specific Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in UNISYS MCP mainframe platform required.

  • 6-10 years COBOL/ALGOL mainframe legacy coding required.

  • 5-7 years of UNISYS security solutions knowledge.

  • 5-7 years verifiable technological leader experience in critical online transaction systems in mainframe platforms.

  • TANDEM Mainframe Non-Stop technologies like: NS SQL, NS SOAP, PATHWAY. Desirable

  • Development in C/C++ experience. Desirable

  • JAVA and Web Services Knowledge - Desirable

  • Experience working in Financial Institution or a large complex and/or global environment.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication in Spanish (English desirable)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities, and related reporting to identify best practices.

  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams.

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirement.

  • Familiarity in software development life cycle, UML and Agile Software development methodology
