Responsible for coordinating Sterling’s service delivery to the firm’s institutional, intermediary and banking platform clients. Provide the client strategy teams with business development support and work with the firm’s banking partners to generate new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Act as a main point of contact for client and prospect inquiries and requests

  • Lead the set-up of onboarding new relationships and platforms including; compiling new account documentation, communicating account details to the applicable groups within the firm, following all compliance and regulatory processes, working with investment teams to develop investment guidelines and ensuring that all steps are completed within the designated timeline

  • Oversee the day-to-day servicing and maintenance of client accounts and platforms

  • Act as a main point of contact for functional teams within the firm in ensuring client needs and objective are understood and met

  • Create client portfolio reviews, specifically in the compiling of portfolio-level analytics and incorporating the data into client review materials

  • Provide guidance to junior team members by reviewing deliverables prior to submission

  • Maintain all necessary client records in order to meet compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate and lead calls with prospects, consultants and banking partners aimed at introducing the firm’s products

  • Work with the Marketing Department in developing prospecting materials

  • Analyze company financial statements and investment policies to work with the various investment teams in creating proposed portfolios

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Four year bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance

  • 3-5 years of financial work experience, preferably in investments

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Solid computer skills with ability to learn and proficiently use several software packages, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must.

  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience working under strict deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently but also with diverse individuals/groups.

  • Must be an effective multi-tasker.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prefer experience with Advent APX, Salesforce and FactSet

  • Preferred pursuit or completion of the Charter Financial Analyst designation
