The Rutgers University School of Nursing-Camden (SNC) invites applications for a Non-Tenure track (NTT) teaching position. The successful candidate for this faculty position will have excellent communication and teaching skills, a record of scholarly accomplishments consistent with one or more of Boyer's Model of Scholarship - Discovery, Integration, Application or Teaching/Learning.The SNC has an RN-BS, a traditional, and a second degree baccalaureate nursing program as well as an MSN, and DNP nurse practitioner program with multiple tracks (AGNP and FNP), and an interdisciplinary PhD program with emphases in translational science for population health.The responsibilities for the position will include: teaching across programs, active scholarship and service to the School and the Community. Clinical and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas is desired: women's health subject experts, geriatrics, pediatrics, adult health/critical care, community health/population health.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden is an important leader in nursing education, research, and engaged civic learning in community service within southern New Jersey, the Delaware Valley, and beyond. We became the fourth designated school at Rutgers University-Camden in 2011, but our tradition of excellence in nursing education extends to 1972 when the Rutgers University-Camden Department of Nursing was first established. The Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP), a certificate within the School of Nursing's graduate program, is currently the only accredited graduate level WOC program in the United States. Offered in both online and on-campus formats, the WOCNEP recruits students from across the nation. Our MSN in School Health is the first School Nurse Certificate Program based upon the National Association of School Nurses' (NASN) Framework for the 21st Century School Nursing Practice.
