    Job Description

AGREEMENT ADMINISTRATOR, Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer (OSATT)-Technology Licensing Office (TLO), to work under the supervision of the assistant director, finance to ensure that financial and diligence terms in license, option, joint invention, and other agreements are accurately reflected in the TLO’s internal database and that inaccurate information in the database is identified and resolved expeditiously. Responsibilities include reviewing agreements for financial and diligence terms, confirming the accuracy of information in the database, and entering the data in a timely way after execution of the agreements. The work involves close coordination and collaboration with the licensing and finance teams.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field; at least two years of relevant experience; ability to review and understand terms in contracts or intellectual property-related agreements; excellent organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail; ability to read and understand the terms of complex legal agreements and other large quantities of information/materials/processes, problem solve, anticipate issues, and work independently with limited guidance; proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced-level Excel skills; and excellent financial data analysis and reporting, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills. PREFERRED: experience with contract, grant, or finance administration; and experience with academic technology transfer and/or familiarity with contract management or a CRM database such as Salesforce.
