Green Mountain Transit (GMT) is seeking an individual with valid CDL and diesel/heavy equipment repairs for this full-time Master Mechanic position. This master-level position is represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 597 and requires membership with this collective bargaining unit, including the payment of dues. Description and Essential Functions: Maintains GMT vehicles and equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records:

• Day Shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on all GMT systems and equipment
• Properly maintains shop facilities and equipment
• Cleans and maintains facilities and equipment as directed
• Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
• Other duties as assigned
