Job Overview

Performs high quality pediatric diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities. Provides conscientious patient care while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Performs administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and maintenance of records. This position is responsible for communicating regularly with patients, families, and all hospital and community caregivers while following department expectations for interactions with patients and families. Team members in this job must maintain competency and registry in two or more Radiology disciplines and work 20% of scheduled shifts in their secondary disciplines. Required to be on call depending on location.

Additional Information

This position is eligible for relocation assistance, if relocating from 100 miles or greater. Department: North Campus CT Scan Hours per week: 36, eligible for benefits Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7am to 730pm. Limited call and Holidays required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Radiography program EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of imaging experience. CERTIFICATION(S): American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT(R); and any one (1) of the following advanced modalities; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board: NMTCB (CT) Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist ARRT(MR) Registered Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) Registered Bone Densitometry (BD)

Produces h gh quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols. Facilitates patient flow daily; to include management of STAT/urgent and high priority patients. Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for procedures. Provides clear and detailed information regarding the procedure and care to patients, families, coworkers, and others.
