WSP USA Assistant Vice President, Real Estate Management in Boston, Massachusetts

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Geography Real Estate Director for our East Regional offices. Be involved in projects with our Workplace Team to help support bringing staff together into office environments that foster collaboration, efficiency, and that support the business teams that excel at what they do.

The candidate will serve as the leader responsible for the Regional Real Estate portfolio inclusive of overall strategy, project success, and regional leadership partner. This role will require the ability to multi-task, be action orientated, forward thinking and a strong leader and communicator.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Lead, develop, and manage regional project managers

  • Develop annual plans (budget, resources, strategies)

  • Regular partnering with business leaders to strategize, inform, and support the company's strategic plan while supporting the business requirements.

  • Manages, evaluates, and reports on regional KPIs / performance metrics

  • Provides solutions to project challenges (scope, schedule, budget, and change leadership)

  • Change Management Champion

  • Continual review of improvement process (industry standards, etc.)

  • May serve as project manager as required

  • Other duties as assigned and required

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience working with a Construction, Design, or Project Management Firm

  • 10+ years of relevant and recent experience in corporate real estate function in a national, multi-faceted business; with current knowledge of applicable practices.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, and tactfully interact with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment.

  • Proven track record of planning, organizing, and directing the work of personnel involved in managing projects.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office, technology, spreadsheets, data analysis, and project management tools.

  • Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to respond to changing priorities and handling multiple tasks;

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Decision making and problem-solving ability

  • Good initiative, strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Ability to travel

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $111,200 - $198,220

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
